Character Information

This RP takes place in the 1700s and is about war at sea. Pirates are running rampant and the nations are trying to combat them. In the RP, all the pirates from real life are present (Blackbeard, etc.), and you can begin either as a pirate or a sailor from the country of your choice. You can be anything that is captain rank or under. So you may either command a ship or take a position aboard it. You can also make up your own NPCs to a certain extent.

Info: Jorgan quit the British navy ten years ago and has been a pirate ever since. He is a master of the English Channel, and usually prowls there, preying on merchant ships. His ship has 20 cannons on each side and a crew of about 200. He sometimes ventures to the Americas, and has even been to the Caribbean, which is infested with rival pirates. He has two pistols at his sides and his trusty cutlass at his waist. He wears a black long coat. His flag shows a skeleton with a sword and shield.

My Character:
Name: Ryan Cottonwood

Info: Ryan is a British captain that is a veteran of several theaters, including the Caribbean, the East Indies, the Ivory Coast, and of the Americas. he was brought back to the English Channel to defend against the increasing threats of the French. he rules his ship with an iron fist and is a fierce opponent in combat. his ship is piloted by a crew of 100 English sailors and troops from London, and 400 from Scotland and Ireland. his ship has 106 cannons and is painted the usual black and yellow colors of British ships of the line but also has red painted on the hull to show the blood on the ships hands, the veteran troops, and for the honor of the Imperial British Navy.
Ryan himself has an armament of weapons he is familiar with. he uses a flintlock pistol and a sharpened sword from the orient. he wears the standard British officers uniform, with a large feathered hat and a monocle. his flag flies on the top gallants of his ship, it is that of the English lion painted red facing right with a yellow background and the right of the flag is painted red with a lion painted yellow facing left.

Name: Captain John Langsden
Rank: Captain of the Spanish Privateer the Acheron \
Info: Captain Langsden is a seasoned veteran of naval combat. He served for three years in the English Navy until during the Battle of Adrien's Cove against the Prussian Navy he was falsly accused of killing his commanding officer. Langsden barely escaped with his life and he fled to spain where he lived for 2 years as a hand upon the whaling ship cleopatra. This career also ended in tragedy when the ship sank in a storm killing all crew members except for John. With nothing else to do John enlisted in the Spanish Navy and was quickly recognized as an exceptional navigator and battle engineer. Queen Isabella soon rewarded him with his own ship The Acheron he then spent time in the carribean defending Spanish Colonies from Pirate attack including one from the Pirate Edward Teach, Unfortunately Teach survived and fled with his crew. Now, spain is locked in a debate as to support the English or the French in this war...

Name Pierre Mathis
Info: Pierre is a french captain on the "Royal" a ship of the kings fleet in the war against England. His ship is huge but he doesn't command it. It was his ship until a battle where he and other ships were forced to retreat in a skirmish with Captain Kidd. He fought is the Americas, Caribbean, India, and many other encounters. his ship was turned over to admiral Marcus, since his personal woes at the battle with Kidd, hes taken Mathis's ship under his control. even tho they kept Mathis's banner, A blue flag with 4 yellow stars in the middle. It is under Marcus's Command.Now they are being kept in Frances Reserve Fleet until the next battle.

Info:Kirk is a man fit for life at sea, but has neither the money or ship to live it. Kirk can normally be found in Port Royal, watching for the perfect job opertunity, and ending fights with his concealed pistol. Kirk also keeps a musket and several rounds fully loaded in case need be.
