Apocalypse RP

Here we go:

Jorgan kicked open the door to the safehouse. He was moving in for a few days, and was doing his routine sweep. He ignored the occasional grotesquely butchered corpse. Jorgan kicked open each door one by one then swept the room with an M10 semi automatic shotgun, his favorite close range weapon. It seemed that the safehouse had been largelly unused since his last visit a few weeks back. Jorgan kicked open the last door and two zombies rushed him, gurgling. Jorgan grimaced and blew one in half with a single blast. The other one nearly tackled him, but Jorgan hit the side of the things head with his shotgun butt. A second blast took the creatures head completely off. Jorgan decided to leave them there while he unloaded his gear from the car. After unloading, Jorgan's second order of business was to torch all the bodies in the safehouse, to prevent confusion between the dead and the undead. He sighed as he commenced his work again.

Ryan finished sweeping up his shop for the day and went to the treefields to cut a few down for barricades and for fire wood then prepare a camp fire for the shelter's inhabitants.

Jorgan had heaped the bodies and burned them in a back alley. Then he returned to the safehouse and ate dinner, which happened to be canned fruit and beef jerky. He knew he could only get real meals if he lived in a shelter, but he preferred being on his own. He wasn't quite sure why, but he guessed that it was because he didn't want to get friends who could die and lower his morale. He finished the beef jerky and went to the back room, where there was a bed. He locked the door and put plenty of things around it to make noise if it was opened, then he went to sleep.

Ryan opened a book and started reading stories to the children in the camp when a faint growl came, a small group of 3 zombies found their way to the camp but were promptly killed. then the festivities resumed

Jorgan woke up, strapped a shotgun over his back and two SMGs to his thighs, then headed out into Raleigh, wearing his urban camo. He began to bash his way into buildings, looking for things to scavenge.

As the morning dawned, Columbus set out from his camp to scavenge for food, water, weapons and survivors.
He was able to find a ham and 16 water bottles when he went into a small convenience store which was across from a hunting store. Being about 3pm and Columbus was 80 minutes from his camp, he decided he could risk searching for supplies in the hunting store. When inside, there was only clothing which he had plenty of, but he did find a crossbow with 40 bolts. putting his new found supplies on the back of his atv, Columbus headed back to camp.

Jorgan moved through building by building. He wasn't looking for any particular item, merely looking for items to survive. He had one eventual goal: he planned to get a car, plenty of gas, and plenty of guns, and find the Zombie Defense Militia. The ZDM was a group of people who were mostly ex-military or police. Some were just civilians with guns, but they were legendary. The ZDM moved around the world, clearing cities and setting up barricades so that humans could repopulate the cities. Currently, Jorgan knew they were moving around the northern States, and he planned to meet up with them.

Ryan woke up the next morning bright and early. he ate some breakfast then went outside to gather the large bags of instant dry cement mix and begin mixing them so the villagers could pour it into their wooden molds. they hopped that after a couple feet tall walls around the borders of the village the zombies would cease to attack, or at least couldn't make their way inside the village. at about 5 in the morning Ryan began pouring the cement into the wooden molds/supports and several others were up also to help. needless to say the complete camp would be walled off by the dinner time.

Jorgan kicked open the last building he planned to look in for the day, and found a mother load. But instead of jumping in and packing as much as he could, he immediately put his shotgun to his shoulder. When there was stuff, there were zombies. Sure enough, a door burst open at the far end of the room and at least 6 zombies swarmed in. Jorgan fired, taking one off its feet but not necessarily killing it. Then he backed out into the street where he knew he'd have more room.

The village had a funny night because the zombies amassed hoping to destroy the village but the walls were to high and strong for them to climb or break so the guards merely got on scaffolding and shot them down. then a few kids ran on the narrow ledge of the wall dumping gasoline outside the wall and then someone dropped a match and the entire outside of the walled in village was alight.

While returning to his camp from the city, Columbus heard a loud BANG! thinking he may have just heard a survivor/survivors fighting for their life, he changed direction and headed for the noise.

the village became a beacon for wanderers and other survivors on the road that needed refuge because of the fire. the immense light also would scare away any zombies in the forest. needless to say the villagers slept easy that night.

Jorgan took down two more freaks with quick shotgun blasts, then bashed one back with the weapon's butt, but he saw a few more heading out of the building and he got a bit worried.

As he sped towards the sound, Columbus heard more shotgun blasts and saw a figure in the street with about 8 zombies in front of him and another 10 walking towards the noise from an alleyway.

The villagers heard noise and sent a few people out in a jeep to pick them up, and in case if they were survivors in a fight they brought weapons.

((btw the fire wasn't a little camp fire, it was the whole perimeter of the village up in flames. its like a semi-contained forest fire, the light from the fire is so bright its like when you watch TV at 3 in the morning after waking up and your eyes haven't adjusted to the light yet. that's the kind of light it is.))

Jorgan saw something off to the left and rolled away from the nearest zombie, turning to aim his gun at the new attacker. Then he saw it was a human, a normal human. Jorgan quickly dove as he realized he had turned away from the real threat. He threw a grenade backwards as he dove and took 4 zombies down.

The villagers jeep fell upon the survivors fighting against the Zombies and ushered them to the jeep as the villagers shot at the Zombies

Jorgan loaded another clip into the semi auto shotgun and continued to hold off the zombies wihle he waited to see what the newcomer would do.

the villagers shot at the Zombies then ushered the survivors in to bring them back to the village.

Columbus saw that there were still 6 zombies in front of the fighting human and 10 closing in behind him. When he was within 10 feet of the survivor, he stopped his atv, brought about his shotgun and unloaded 8 rounds into the 10 zombies, killing 7, then killed the other 3 with his pistol. At the same time, the stranger killed the other 6. Columbus then turned around to talk to this new comrade.

the leader of the expedition stood up in the jeep " you better follow us back to the village, you'll be safe there and we have provisions enough for the both of you."

Jorgan reluctantly decided to come back for the loot later. "Lets talk in the jeep on the way to this village hes talking about." Jorgan climbed in the jeep and Columbus followed. "I'm Jorgan," he said to Columbus. "And you are?"

"Columbus. I'll have to follow the jeep on my atv" he then turned to the man in the jeep who had talked to himself and Jorgan "I've got a camp of my own, with 2 tents and some food, I could take you there tomorrow if you'd like"

The jeep driver responded to Columbus. "Stay close on your ATV. If you want, you could come live in the village with us, it's safe there. We have fortifications."

the driver took off and went back to the village with Columbus right behind.
