"Bor'ba za materi Rossii!" yelled Dmitri. The troops roared and charged up the streets of Berlin, fighting furiously with German forces. Beside Dmitri, a private took a bullet to the head, and gore splattered on the ground. "Rest in peace, my friend," said Dmitri grimly.
Dmitri threw aside his empty PPSh submachine gun and bent down, picking up the fallen private's MG42, a German light machine gun with incredible power. "Come on, men!" yelled Dmitri to his squad. He kicked down a door into one of the buildings along the street. There were corpses strewn across tables and chairs inside, a mix of civilians, German soldiers, and Russian soldiers. One German still lived, and he grabbed his rifle, but Dmitri blew his arm off with a quick burst of lead. The German clutched his arm and fell to his knees, where one of the Russian soldiers ended his life with a quick pistol shot.
Dmitri kicked open another door, looked out into the street where all the bullets were flying, and wondered how it had come to this. Then he shouted a battle cry and ran forward spraying shots.

Richard found himself in a skirmish with a German lieutenant, he urged them on to battle and soon were able to defeat the same sized force and the lieutenant was captured. they continued down the north of France towards Paris which they hoped they could get some provisions from and hopefully take some real-estate.

Dmitri fired the MG42 down the street. Suddenly, something exploded and Dmitri was thrown to the ground. Debris landed on top of him. He heard shouting. Suddenly Dmitri recovered from the brief stun. He quickly rolled over to fire the MG42 but he realized the weapon had been lost in the explosion. With no other option, Dmitri drew his Tokarev sidearm and ducked into a building. The remainder of his squad followed.

Richard ran into a small bakery and set up shop there. his men were careful as half the city was under French underground control and the other half was Italian influence. Paris became the hood, a gheto, constant turf fights between Italian and French forces. Richard hoped to claim a part of the city to act as a headquarters for his limited forces and to establish a British presence in the city. Richard's men set up successfully and were not seen, they began to dig under the bakery for a future underground base to hide from an Italian raid. Richard spent the rest of the day talking with other notable soldiers in the ground and directing the set up of the headquarters.

Dmitri and his men crouched inside a coffee shop. "Anyone know what that explosion was?" asked Dmitri.
"Enemy tank, sir," said a corporal. "One of those big Panzers the Germans use."
"Where did it go?"
A soldier looked out the window. "It moved down the road," he rrported.
"Good, lets move," said Dmitri. He walked back out into the street, where the Russian battalion was regrouping. Dmitri holstered his pistol and picked up a standard issue German MP40. Then a lietenant ordered everyone to keep moving. As soon as the battalion turned a corner, they were met with resistance, and the battle recommenced.

Richard and his men had set up successfully, they had managed to dig deep enough that day to get a series of tunnels operating that would connect to other rooms of their base.an Italian patrol came down the street. the mew dodged into position behind the curtains in the top windows of the building. as the patrol walked by Richard kept a few from running up and shooting on them. instead he gave the order to fire when they were close enough and quickly sent the other men out to retrieve the dead Italians, which would make them think it was an underground raid.

Nicholai put a bullet in the head of the German in front of him. He and his men then continued onward toward the left flank of the Germans which was under heavy assault by the Russians who needed reinforcements. "Vladmir, take point!" ordered Nicholai as the moved down the barren streets and towards the fighting.

"Alright, men," said Dmitri, loading a Mosin-Nagant bolt action Russian rifle that he had taken from a mutilated corpse. "Remember that if you die, you die for the motherland! Now, charge!"
The men charged out of the coffee shop with the typical Russian battle cry. "Ooooraaaah!" They all raised their weapons then froze, realizing it was a reinforcement patrol for the eastern flank.
Dmitri moved to the front. "Who is the CO of this patrol?" he asked.

"I am" replied Nicholai, "who is in charge of this crazy yelling band of perfect targets for alert snipers? we're supposed to be outflanking the Germans without them knowing."

"Your intel is a few days behind," replied Dmitri, shaking his head. "The Germans have almost taken the left flank. I and my men were one of the last defensive checkpoints before the flank." He motioned his hand toward the corpses in the street. "We did the best we could, but with three enemy tanks we never had a chance."

"Very well" said Nicholai "Then we should attempt to destroy those 3 tanks that are causing so much trouble. Which way did they go?"

"We can go after them," said Dmitri, pointing. "But by this time they have already reached the flank, which was already weak from enemy assault. Those tanks may be able to turn the tides in German favor. I see your men have no rocket launchers. Do not worry, I have to Panzerschrek bazookas with me." He motioned an a soldier brought out the two massive weapons. "I will give them to you in good faith, comrade. Also, I will follow you and aid you in your fight for the motherland. However, the enemy patrol with the tanks are mine to kill. They took many of my squad's lives, and we deserve our revenge."

"I am glad for your help comrade, my men and I will take the left side of the streets. How many men do you have? if you have enough, you can take the right side, other wise it would be best for you to stay close to us."

Richard set up communication and was about to move against the Italians, the British were about to ship in another division into Paris including some artillery that would be useful in advancing against the growing Italian and Spanish forces. Richard continued his regular actions of taking out patrols and some important positions covertly. he also managed to plan a massive revolt on the day the British troops would arrive near Paris, naturally the French were eager to side with anyone for freedom, but as we all know the city would be claimed by Britain instead and they could not hope to regain freedom.

"I have 20 with me," said Dmitri. "They are not all part of my squad. An entire battalion was guarding this checkpoint, my squad was merely part of the battalion. Nevertheless, the survivors from the other squads have placed themselves under my command. Deal with the tanks, and we can fight the German dogs.

Richard was delighted when more friendly troops stormed in and the British finally got active and took the fight to the Italian slugs in Paris. Richard led the first planned attack on the Lourve. his troops stormed in after a few bombardments by the artillery and a quick whistle sounded the charge. The Italians inside were either sleeping, talking, or trying to cook something of metal sculptures. Richards troops easily took them down without any casualties as the Italians were unprepared and many of their guns were unloaded as the soldiers there had seen no action in months. Richard didn't blame them but those that were still alive and that surrendered were told to take the food off the art and cook some meals for the British troops on proper cooking tools.

"Alright, lets move out. Delta squad takes the rear."

A British officer approached Richard. " we hear that the Russians are making steady progress through Germany and they almost done with them. it may be a smart option to make a pact with them so if you see any Russians around be nice to them." Richard nodded and resumed operations

Soon enough, the group encountered the German tank squad. The three tanks were bombarding a Russian owned building to ruins. "OOOORAAAAAAH!" shouted Dmitri, firing his Mosin-Nagant. A surprised German's face came off and he fell to the ground quickly. Dmitri pulled the bolt back on his rifle, but by that time the Germans had recovered and a firefight ensued. The tanks began to swivel their slow heads around, and Dmitri noticed.
"Have your men take them out quickly, comrade!" he yelled to Nicholai.

Nicholai's and his men had gone around through rubbled buildings to get behind the Germans. They came up behind 12 unaware Germans guarding the tank furthest back and easily dispatched them. They then opened the hatch of the tank and dropped 3 grenades into it. "One down" muttered Nicholai.

Dmitri leapt on top of an enemy tank in two steps. He grabbed the officer who was standing in the open hatch by the uniform. The officer yelled in fright, and Dmitri cut him off by putting his machete through the German's throat. Then Dmitri hurled the officer into the dusty street. Dmitri dove down in the tank and began laying into the controllers with his machete. He radioed Nicholai.
"Comrade, soon I will have this tank under control, keep the enemy busy until I have." But as soon as Dmitri said it, a huge German soldier dropped down into the tank. Dmitri swung his blade, but it missed the man by inches. The huge German hit Dmitri with a stunning punch, and the machete clattered under a control panel. Dmitri dodged the second punch and tackled the man to the metal floor, but it wasn't looking good for Dmitri.

Nicholai and his Russian Comrades set a perimeter around the tank and exchanged crossfire with the Germans at the third tank. Nicholai heard muffled voices from inside the tank, he took out his Luger and looked inside the open hatch. As the German soldier was attempting to come down onto Dmitri with a machete, Nicholai pointed his Luger point blank at the mans head and fired.

The huge ox of a German fell on top of Dmitri, who pushed him off. The German's body hit the floor with a thud, and Dmitri retrieved his machete, strapping it to his back. "Pig," he spat at the German. "Thank you, comrade," he said, nodding his head at Nicholai. "Now, watch this."
Dmitri took the controls of the tank and swiveled its head toward the other tank. Then he fired. He then opened the circuit panel, tossed a frag inside, and leapt out of the tank. The enemy tank had been destroyed, and the tank Dmitri had used exploded from the internal damage.
"Oooooraaah!" yelled the Russians. The remaining Germans either ran or surrenderd, but either way the Russians mercilessly killed them all. Then a messenger ran up to Dmitri. Dmitri nodded and turned to Nicholai.
"My friend," he said. "This tank squadron was merely a distraction. While we were worried about taking them down, another enemy patrol cut a path through our army. We are now cut off from the main army, with no hope of reinforcements. They have downed our radios, so we are on our own. We must fight our way through the German barricade. We have about 40 men left, put together."

"How many Germans are between us and our army?" asked Nicholai

"Several hundred," answered Dmitri. "There is no hope of a full on battle, however, if we pinpoint their weakest point, we may be able to break through enough to get to the main army. I suggest we target... here," he said, unrolling a map and pointing. "There is a German checkpoint there, but no large force. If we can ambush them and fight through them before reinforcements arrive we will be fine."
