Assassin RP Topic

Leopoldo heard an argument coming from the 3rd door on the left. He reported it to Locorn who then blew the door up with a small bomb and had each of his assassins toss a bomb into the room each, for good measure. As they entered the room Locorn saw that a financer and 3 guards had been killed. Time to move onto the toughest target in he building.

Jorin knew the man would have the nicest quarters in the mansion, so he went upstairs to find the room with the best view. He heard a sharp crack and three rooms across the courtyard caved in. The fire was taking its toll, and Jorin knew he had to hurry. "Locorn, take the men and get out of the building, and order the mercenaries to stop the attack," he shouted. "I will kill the man." Jorin climbed up two balconies to the top floor, where he found a door closed and locked, he kicked the door down and rushed in the room, wrist blades already extended.

Locorn ordered the remaining assassins out the 2nd floor and into the streets to the meeting point. While they did this, Locorn ran to the 22 mercenaries and ordered them to stop the attack, but when the were about to leave, 35 guards ran up to them looking for a fight. "Fight to the last man if you want to live yelled Locorn as he charged the guards, leading the mercenaries into the battle"

The guard's spear whistled over Jorin's head a second after he ducked. The spear embedded itself in a book on the shelf behind Jorin. The assassin quickly killed the guard with the assassin combo. As the guard fell, Jorin looked across the room and saw the last financer, with a Black Hand council member in front of him.
"Bene, Signore Jorin, Bene," said the assassin. "You have done well thus far. However, you know that I am your equal in combat, so you have a 50% chance of dying in a duel with me."
"A risk I'm willing to take," said Jorin. He fired his wrist pistol, but the assassin ducked and the bullet missed. Then the council member rushed at Jorin. Jorin knew he had about 4 minutes to finish this assassin and the financer off. he rolled sideways as the council member lunged with his wrist blades. Jorin sprang back up and grabbed the man's wrists, forcing the blades to point towards the ceiling, and the two engaged in a midair arm wrestling match.

Richard and Maria were finally wed and they returned to the castelle for the reception. Richard was happy but also suspicious because the events of the day had not been interrupted and not even a small disturbance occurred. Richard was suspicious but went on with his day, however he dispatched Francesco to see what the assassins were doing.

As the mercenaries gained the upperhand in the fighting, due to a few well places bomb throws from Locorn, 3 assassins entered the battle. Unfortunately they were from the Black Hand "Perfect" muttered Locorn as the assassins began to approach him.

The two assassins continued to struggle, but suddenly the financer pulled out a hidden pistol and shot Jorin in the stomach. He cursed and his grip weakened. Before the Black Hand assassin could get the advantage, Jorin kicked the man's feet out from under him.
Time seemed to slow for a moment, as the Black Hand assassin hit the floor with a thud. Jorin saw the financer reloading the pistol, but thankfully it was taking him a while. Jorin stabbed the Black Hand assassin, killing him, then dove at the financer. But as he dove, the fire in the building hit the armory, and the explosion made the support beams for the top floor crack. The entire side of the building that Jorin was on fell into the courtyard, he heard crunches and cracks all around him as wood splinters and pieces of furniture flew around him. He saw the financer slide sideways as the floor tipped. Jorin was slammed around for a bit, then his head hit the ceiling and he blacked out, just as he heard the massive crack of the building slamming down into the courtyard.

(so i am assuming the financer is still alive...?)
Richard barely heard the large city bells ringing, sounding the alarm as well as serving as a fire alarm. He was to preoccupied and thought it could be a trap so he let his guards get it but when he looked out the window and saw what building it was he dispatched several guards and physicians so as to save the occupant if possible.

Seeing the building fall, Giovanni and Alletto had rushed into the rubble to find their master. They found him unconcious, shot, bruised, and stabbed by splinters in several places. Next to Jorin was the financer, who had unluckily been skewered on a large pointed beam. The two assassins were used to grisly sights, but they averted their eyes. They placed Jorin on a wooden plank and dragged him to Locorn. "What shall we do?" inquired Giovanni.

guards following a large fire fighter wagon approached quickly and the assassins were forced to flee fast, or suffer the possibility of being captured. although they would be interrogated and questioned about the killings and maybe executed or tortured, the Medicis have the best doctors and would be able to heal the downed assassin better.

Locorn dodged the first 2 assassins as they attempted to strike with hidden blades, before the third could attack, Locorn threw a star into his throat. As the other 2 turned, Locorn cut the string of a 5 second bomb down to 1 second "Catch" he said as he lit and tossed it to the unsuspecting assassins.

When a great crash sounded, Locorn turned to see Giovanni and Aletto carrying Jorin's beat and broken body towards him. In response to Giovanni, Locorn performed some emergency medical work to the splinters in Jorin's body that could kill him if they were bumped the wrong way. When Leopoldo and the 2nd assassin approached, they announced that a fire emergency vehicle had arrived with another 3 about 2 minutes behind it. Locorn had his men dispatch of those in the vehicle while he, Aletto and Giovanni carried Jorin to the wagon.

As they loaded Jorin into the back of the wagon, the other 3 wagons approached. Not being able to recognize the men in front of them as assassins, the guards called to them to which Locorn responded "We have some seriously injured men in here who are of importance to the Medici family" with that, the 6 assassins road past all the approaching guards and to safety without trouble.

Jorin coughed and woke up. He felt as if he had been stabbed multiple times. "What hap-" he stopped and coughed up a bunch of blood, which he spit on the stone road. Seeing this, he muttered a curse. "How bad is it?" he wheezed.

"Well, for the time being, your fine, but if we cant remove that splinter in your leg we might have to amputate. Everything else has been dealt with, all the wounds have been sealed and no infections got in." replied Locorn

"Giovanni? Alletto?" asked Jorin.
"We are here, Signore," said Giovanni. "We recovered you from the rubble."
"And the financer?"
"Dead, Signore," said Alletto. "Not a pretty sight either."
"Alright," said Jorin. He looked around. "I gather that the reason we are in a fire cart is that something went wrong?" he asked Locorn.

Locorn told the story, after which he informed Jorin that it would take at least 8 months for his wounds to fully heal.

Jorin sighed.
"If it helps, Signore, you will be able to walk in just a few days. But you will be in quite a bit of pain, and you may have a limp," said Giovanni. "You will not be able to do any missions for eight months, however."
Soon, they arrived at a safehouse, where Alletto and Giovanni carried Jorin inside. Then Jorin addressed Locorn: "I have ordered the preparation of a headquarters for the Knights of the Dark Mist. There is an ancient mausoleum entrance in the slums, and they have cleared a large room deep underground. That is where we will operate in secret. I have hired some workers to clear some collapsed areas. They should be done by the time I am healed."

Richard had a great time at the reception but felt awkward about the situation, he decided just to wait and see what would happen.

8 months passed without incident, the assassins decided to lay low. Then, one day as Jorin was doing training excercises to ensure that he was ready for action, Giovanni rushed in.
"Signore, we have just received word," he panted. "The Medici captain Richard. His son has just been born."
"This is an interesting turn of events," said Jorin. "What about the mausoleum? Is it ready?" The mausoleum had been under work for 8 months, in that time the guild had been staying in various safehouses.
"Indeed, Signore," said Giovanni. "They have cleared all the rooms, and put up our guild's symbold on tapestries."
"Excellent," said Jorin. "Let us go see."
They walked to the mausoleum entrance, and Jorin used his wrist blade to open it with a clockwork mechanism. The guild had decided to use assassin wrist blades as keys. He descended a long staircase until he came to a large open room, with several tables. Tapestries hung everywhere with the guild symbold, which was a white background with a small bunch of misty black smoke in the middle.
"Welcome, Signore," said an architect. "This is the Great Hall. We have also built a library and a system of rooms that will serve as a training ground that will test all your assassins' skills. At the end of the training room we have installed a vault, that will onlly open if your own personal wrist blade is used on it. So, to reach the vault, one must complete the training rooms, and unlock the door with your blade."
"Excellent, your payment is waiting at the bank of Rome, but be warned, the account will disappear once you have your money," said Jorin.
"Thank you, Signore," said the man, and left.

Richard walked around the castello, joyful, and following him, Maria, in hand the young baby Dominic. They walked out of the castello in white. they were cheered by the towns people as a route lined with a white carpet and banners led to the basilica. they headed there for the blessing and baptism of Dominic. the little child smiled as the sounds of cheering on lookers and calming music was played the entire way following the procession. behind them members of both families followed their path down the streets.

Locorn and Jorin had taken this mission into serious consideration. In the end they decided to go through with it that night. As they began to depart, Locorn addressed Leopoldo "Don't be late with the decoy, we may not have a second chance at this." with that, they moved out.

Jorin had his suspicions about the mausoleum. He knew that buried in the deepest part of the tombs was an assassin sanctuary, where famous assassins of old were laid to rest. His own ancestor, Antonio Auditore, was somewhere below. Antonia had been the great grandson of the great Ezio Auditore. Jorin knew what to do. He headed to the training room.
Jorin began at the first room. It consisted of some climbing and jumping, which was simple for any assassin, and Jorin pulled a switch, which opened the door leading down to the next room. In the second room, Jorin had to run for the door at the opposite end of the room, while dulled wooden poles were launched at him by clockwork launchers on the walls. The poles would not pierce skin, but they could leave ugly bruises and cause unconsciousness. Using his remarkable assassin agility, Jorin dodged and rolled, finally descending into the third and final room. In this room, he had to fire his wrist pistol at targets the size of grapes. Any other gun would have missed, but the assassin wrist pistols could do the job with expert marksmanship. Once he had hit all the targets, a wall to the side of the room opened, and the vault door was revealed. Jorin opened it with his wrist blade and stepped over the piles of money that funded the guild. He walked to the back of the vault, where he found a small opening.
Jorin pulled a rusty key from his pocket, a family heirloom, and put it in the opening, then turned. There was a rumble and the back of the vault opened to another descending staircase, as Jorin had guessed. He began his walk down.
It was a long walk, but at the end Jorin emerged into a large chamber, which was shaped like a half circle. Along the curved part of the wall there were large indentations, which each held tombs and a statue of the resident in the tomb. Jorin saw Antonio and several other notable assassins. He walked up to Antonio's tomb, and felt along the sides. He finally felt a piece of it that moved. He pressed and yet another side door opened, to a small rectangular room, filled with various items. Two chests held assassin wrist weapons, and a third had some swords. But the centerpiece was the armor in the back of the room. It was plate, but very light. It hung on a mannequin, which was fully outfited. There was a masterfully crafted sword at its side, and a wrist weapon inlaid with gold. Also, there was a large pole that looked like a large fan, but Jorin knew it was a gliding device that allowed humans to glide from buildings. Jorin donned the armor, the sword, and the wrist weapon. Then he secured the folded gliding device to his back using its shoulder strap. Then he closed all the doors and returned to the guild.

Jorin and Locorn were ontop of the roof of Richards house. As they entered, they saw there were no guards because of a little uproar that the Knights of the Dark Mist had caused. They both quietly slipped into Dominic's bedroom, Locorn swiftly grasped Maria from behind, covering her mouth so as to keep her quiet. At the same time, Jorin picked Dominic out of the crib and checked him for a birth mark to assure it was him. Locorn then suffocated Maria into unconciousness, then tied her to a pillar in a room with her mouth covered. Locorn and Jorin then left as quietly as the came with baby Dominic who would not be seen by his father for 16 years at which time he would hate him more than any man and not be capable of having his mind changed to the truth.

(wow thanks for giving me a baby btw i dont think that what happens when you get kidnapped for 16 years and your father is powerful. believe me id be like sweet dad i know i was kidnapped and didnt come to know you but i can still inherit all that money and stuff right? lol)
Richard heard screams from the top floor and ran up to see what was wrong. he untied Maria and she told him what happened. he immediately ordered the guards and he went to Giovanni for assistance. " Our baby Dominic has been kidnapped by those assassins, search every house and question everyone. We need to find our baby." Maria and Richard began to weep and Giovanni spoke. " Yes, i will not hesitate. I will search every single building, known or unknown, until we find my nephew, your son!"
and the guards were dispatched to every single building in Florence and the city was sealed completely, stopping any way of escape.

A small plague had broken out in Florence, using this as a diversion by hiding under some dead bodies of people who had died of non contageable illness's that had been given different appliances to the skin to appear as victims of plague, Locorn and Jorin took Dominic to a far away country where they would visit often to check on the boys training.

For months Florence and the areas around were searched. the Medici were favored and any civilians that had information came forward. Dominic's kidnapping caused Richard to go into a deep depression as well as Maria and most of both their families. most people knew about this too. Giovanni, one of Jorin's men, approached him with the news. "Most of Florence is black with sadness. Maria and Richard Gray along with members of both their families are in deep grief. Im not judging your actions but isn't our creed about not harming the innocent, also why would you kidnap Richard's son? what did he ever do besides his job? its not like he killed any of your friends personally nor did he mean it im sure? so why?"
