Maria yelled out to Jorin : " figlio di una cagna! what did i ever do to you!" then she sat back waiting for Jorin or someone else to approach.

Richard followed Francesco's lead and the guards brought along some dogs to help them track. they ran through the streets and found the area of the struggle, furthermore they found a ninja star, one point bloody. " No! no, no, no, no. My Maria may be dead, or captured. In the hands of those vagrants who captured her she will die for sure. She couldn't stay in a dirty cell, no one could." Richard wept for a period then moved on after being convinced that Maria might still be alive or might have escaped by some guards.

Locorn went into Maria's cell and quietly sat there for a while before asking "We killed the men you hired to kill us, dont deny it, we have the contract with your matchable signature and the money from your own vault.......... So why did you try to have us killed?"

"you say it like i did an evil thing" stated Maria. "...But the truth is it was a good thing. i hired them to take out the assassin that killed my uncle. i did not do it for fun or anything, it was to avenge my uncle." then Maria started in a more aggressive tone. " now is this an interrogation because im not talking anymore!" she pushed Locorn away and went for the plate of fruit crepes that the chef made her for lunch.

Francesco ran after the dogs. And they soon came to a low building where the dogs started whining and jumping at the door.

Richard signaled the guards who broke in the door and began to run in and search the house...

(They can't just FIND the Black Hand HQ)

Jorin had food routinely brought to Maria but he stopped checking to see if she ate it or not. Meanwhile he was given command over three lower ranking Black Hand assassins, who had been trained to be ultimately loyal to him. They weren't idiotic thug minions, they were intelligent decision making valuable allies.

Richard burst inn the building and began searching through the house for Maria. there were a bunch of hooded figures but he payed no attention to them but called out looking for Maria while he ran through the house.

The hooded figures were nuns. "Signore, why have you interrupted our praying?" Said one to Richard.

Jorin took a risky trip out to the city streets to gather information on what the Medicis were doing to find Maria. he found out that they were hunting around the city at that very moment. Jorin turned back to escape when a guard said. "You there, you look familiar." The guard started to walk over but vanished on the way mysteriously.

Richard yelled out to the nuns: "i am looking for my fiance, we believe she has been kidnapped and your residence was marked by the dogs." the nuns looked flabbergasted an older one spoke " although i am delighted to hear the news we have nothing to do with this. we will pray to the Lord that he help you but we are not criminals we are only servants of God."

The dogs ran past the nuns and attacked the food table, which had a chicken in the center.

Jorin and his three men returned and announced that the fiance of Maria was hunting for them with dogs, but so far it had been uneffective. Fortunately, Jorin had left large piles of pillows and bedding in alleyways on the streets to confuse the dogs' scent.

The dogs sniffed them and checked them out but continued on the trail, Richard assumed that the kidnappers left the pillows and left a note inside for the kidnappers picked up the pillows, it stated who he was and what he would do to get her back.

Locorn watched as Richard and the stranger with the dogs walked away. He needed to know more about this new foe, so he continued to follow him by moving from one shadow to another so that not even the greatest Medici could have seen him.

Richard kept his eyes open as he searched the streets and had a strange feeling, like someone was following you. he turned around a few times and would occasionally see a shadowy figure behind him. he thought nothing of it until passing through several restricted areas and still seeing the figure afterwords, that's when he got suspicious. he then altered his speed and direction several times in an attempt to lose him. he even went under a bridge and continued through the sewers till he came up around the same place as he started, he hoped to reset the search.

Francesco followed Richard, Daggers out now. "I don't know about you, but those nuns seemed like they wanted to get rid of us. Hmm, perhaps it was just that our dogs ate their dinner."

" well i though they were pretty nice seeing how we interrupted their worship. i hope we shook that tail we acquired." Then they ran off to continue their search

Locorn followed the two men for some time before he decided to head back to the Black Hand.

When he arrived he informed the council that they were dealing with a trained assassin, well equipped that could be a nuisance.

the dogs continued down the street they first ran down and the pillows that were there were there no longer. the ran down to the nun's house and walked in on some more praying in an attempt to discover a cover-up, unfortunately there was none.

Jorin took his three assassins out into the streets to find some guards that could be capture and interrogated.

A young assassin of a lower rank came to Locorn telling him that his own cult, Unseen Shadows, urgently needed to talk to him about what he was involved with. Locorn left 15 minutes later.

Richard continued the search, found nothing but came up with a few leads. he went back to Franceso's house to discuss possible options.

Jorin had found trouble. A squadron of heavily armored guards had recognized him and his three assassins. They had fled down an alley, only to run into more enemies. They kicked down a door and ran inside, frightening the resident family. "Scusi," said Jorin, dashing up the stairs. From there he kicked open the wooden shutters and leapt onto the next roof over. His three men followed him. Then they began a mad building to building dash.
Jorin saw an archer aiming a crossbow at his men. Jorin immediately fired his pistol, but the man fired his crossbow as he died. The bolt hit one of the assassins in the shoulder. He cried out in pain and fell down on the roof.
"Claudio is hit!" said one of the other assassins.
"Can you move?" asked Jorin.
"No, Signore," answered Claudio.
Jorin was unsure what to do. He knew it was only a matter of time before crazed fiance would show up, and then they would be in real trouble.

The guards ran up to Franceso's house and alerted both him and Richard who looked outside and saw the assassins hopping on the roof of a building. " come on, we have to catch them!"

Jorin made a quick decision. Below them was an alleyway with a hay cart. The hay cart was pulled by two horses.
"Here we go," said Jorin. He picked up Claudio and threw him into the hay bale. "Giovanni, Alletto, follow him," said Jorin. The two men leapt into the hay. Jorin jumped down onto one of the horses' backs. Then he grabbed two spears that were leaning against the alley wall. "Giovanni, Alletto!" he called. The two men stood up in the hay bale. "Claudio is hidden," said one.
"Here is the plan," said Jorin.
A moment later a hay cart blasted out of an alleyway. A man rode on a horse in front, driving the cart, and two men with spears stood in the back, bashing and stabbing guards as they rode by. "Watch for archers!" called Jorin.

Locorn had arrived at the Unseen Shadows main hall. It seemed as though something dreadful had happened. "Ah, Locorn, so good to see you." said Recardo, one of Locorn's old teachers. "Why have i been called here so urgently" asked Locorn. "I am grieved to tell you this Locorn, but our great leader, Michelangelo, is dead..." "Dead? asked Locorn as he was swayed by the news "This is a matter of politics, why am i needed here?" "Because," said Trutest, Michelangelo's most loyal friend, "you have been elected to act as the temporary guardian of Michelangelo's son, Leopoldo.
"Why am i to watch the boy?" asked Locorn "Because Michelangelo asked for you personally and the counsel has decided it shall be so. Now here he is, take your apprentice with you to the Black Hand and continue your work." replied Trutest.

As Locorn and his new apprentice returned to the Black Hand, Locorn looked at the boy and wondered what kind of future this apprentice would cause for him.

Richard jumped on a horse and urged Franceso and the other guards. they chased after the wagon and Richard called on a few arquebusiers and crossbowmen on the rooftops to shoot down on the cart. some of the hay was hit but the big moment was when Richard took out his pistol and shot at the wheel. the center of the wheel broke apart and fell off causing the wagon to come to a screeching halt. within seconds the wagon, hay, and two riders were surrounded.
